About The Artist
| Native Kansan, ex-patriot New Yorker-by-way-of-Portland, Leroy Klausmeyer has built his career on recycling natural and man-made materials in highly textural weavings, which resonate on many levels. Reflecting ideas surrounding man's impact on the natural world, Leroy spends a great deal of time gathering his materials and assembling them into artworks with a much deeper meaning. Mr. Klausmeyer has shown extensively in the Midwest and East Coast; Portland, Oregon and Arcata, California on the West Coast. |
